The following list of  materials is required for the Wedding Ceremony:

• Puja samagri packet (1)
• red cloth (1.25 yards – 1)
• white cloth (1.25 yards – 1)
• Panchamrut – mixture of milk, yogurt, ghee, honey & sugar  (1)
• rice (1 1/4 lb. – qty 1)
• whole wheat grains (1/2 lb.- qty 1)
• whole supari (1 packet)
• jaggery (1/2 lb. – qty 1)
• fruits – mixed
• divo (lamp)
• flowers – mixed
• agarbati (1 packet)
• coins (approx. 20)
• garlands (for bride & groom – total 2)
• thalis and spoons
• sweets (mithai)
• antarpat (cloth to be held between bride and groom)
• cloth for tying the knot (chheda ganthan cloth) – equivalent of a scarf
• varmala
• sampoot
• ponkhana
• var bediyu
• nagarvel leaves

For Agni Puja (fire ceremony) for Wedding

• Agni Kund (if available – or 6 bricks & 1 aluminum pan
• fireplace log
• bottle of ghee
• hand towels

Note:  The puja participants should fast until the completion of the ceremony.
